Event Photo's and links

Postby knightofredemption on Fri Jun 05, 2009 1:37 pm

Could folk please post photo's and links of gigs into their groups forum on this site? this would make the editing of the events section easier and we could delete the event posts after the event is over but leave your pics and links in your own section of the site.

I hope this will prevent folk getting upset at their photo's and links disappearing during the tidy up of past event threads.

Perhaps new "media" section on the board index might be something to consider.

Well its not really the function of this site to supply a repository for groups to post photo's and media for long term storage. Most of the active groups on the forum do have a space in the living history groups forum and this is the place to put photo's and information about your group and events you may have done in the past. Global Forum mods tend to leave this section alone and leave them to be taken care of by the local group mods. Its also a very underused section of the forum and it would be nice to see groups making more use of this facility.

i found a few nice websites, if anyone is interested in the history of old forts and buildings in ireland go to www.abandonedireland.com or if anyone has any interest in secret military bases go to www.secret-bases.co.uk.
