On Wednesday 24th March, the President will dedicate the foundation stone for a proposed memorial at Gallipoli in memory of all the Irish who perished in that campaign and, in particular, the men of the 10th Irish Division.

A number of military and history associations will be traveling with us to attend this event and the organising committee is hoping there will be a large Irish support at the dedication. The tour will visit a number of sites in the Anzac, Helles and Suvla Bay sectors and is open to all interested people.

We believe this tour may be of interest to members of livinghistory.ie and would appreciate in this instance if you were able to list it in your Events section if at all possible as it is such a landmark in Irish history. The tour dates are 22 – 27 March 2010 and the price is €995 per person sharing.
